I read the article about the Heathrow Terminal 5 wich is the biggest in the UK and also the most busy one. For many reasons the expansion of the terminal was planned for to facilitate the traffic of the passengers in the airport.
But contrary to all expectations, the day of the grand opening was a completely disaster.
In spite of the milionaire investment, there were lots of problems with the organization inside and outside the terminal like people couldn't park their cars because there were no space, also the security staff had problems with to get into the huge buildingand they also had problems with the use of the new operation system.
All this problems were the reason of th many fligths delay and the confusion with lugagge, that make people feel upset.
The problems continued in the following days after the opening and the airline that operated at terminal said that the negative publicity has noy helped the reputation of the airport or airline at all.

This is a very clear summary Karla and very accurate writing.
Remember, after prepositions any verb should be the _ing form: "the security staff had problems with getting into..." rather than "the security staff had problems with to get into...".
Also, check singular vs plural nouns carefully:
"because there was no space"
"All these problems"
Finally, look at the way I have rewritten this sentence:
"All these problems were the reason for the delays to many flights and confusion with luggage which has left many people upset".
